This year's tournament is at Lions Municipal Golf Course. A buffet lunch at 11:30 will be followed by a shotgun start and the awards ceremony will follow as soon as all Teams returned from the course.
The format is a four-person scramble. Awards are given to the first and second place teams and individual contest winners for longest drive and closest to the pin. All players are eligible for door prizes. IT vendors doing business with the State of Texas are strongly encouraged to register a 4-person team consisting of at least two government players. Teams registering with this criteria will be given priority. Player Fees of $40 per person cover green fees, cart fees, practice range, tournament services, beverages, buffet lunch, and heavy appetizers during the awards ceremony. Registration is limited to the first 30 paid teams. The registration deadline is October 21, 2008.
