Who knew the first 2004 tournament would lead to a 2008 tournament that was bigger and better than ever?
Thank you to every sponsor, player and volunteer who helped make the 5th Annual Tee IT Up Texas Tournament such a success Friday, October 24th and congratulations to the 1st and 2nd place teams and skills contests winners. The tournament gives IT vendors an opportunity to express appreciation to our state and local government customers and what better place for that than a golf course with spirited camaraderie, fine competition, great weather, good food, cold drinks and chances to win hole-in-one prizes? Thanks again from the Tournament Committee and we hope to see you next year. And oh by the way, the clock starts now you have a year to work on those hole-in-one shots. Tee IT Up! This year's tournamentis at Lions Municipal Golf Course.Check in and Lunch beginat11:30 followed bya shotgun start at 1:00.An awards ceremonywill follow as soon as all teams return from the course.

The formatis a four-person scramble. Awardsare given to the first and second place teams and individual contest winners for longest drive and closest to the pin. All playersare eligible for door prizes. IT vendors doing business with Texaspublic sector IT customers are strongly encouraged to register a 4-person team consisting of at least two government players. Teams registering with this criteria will be given priority. Player Fees of $40 per person cover green fees, cart fees, practice range, tournament services, beverages, lunch, and heavy appetizers during the awards ceremony. Registrationis limited to the first 30 paid teams. The registration deadlineis October 10, 2008.
