Who knew the first 2004 tournament would lead to six years of having fun in the sun, and what a beautiful day it was! The 2009 tournament was bigger and better than ever.
The tournament gives IT vendors an opportunity to express appreciation to our state and local government customers and what better place for that than a golf course with spirited camaraderie, fine competition, great weather, good food, cold drinks and chances to win hole-in-one prizes?
Thank you to all the people who participated this year, the volunteers, the sponsors, the players, and Lions Golf Course for making this year's tournament such a success. Congratulations to all the winners and we look forward to seeing all of you at next years' event!
Tee IT Up!

This Year's Event Information:
This year's tournament was at Lions Municipal Golf Course. Check in and Lunch began at 11:30 followed by a shotgun start at 1:00. An awards ceremony followed as soon as all teams returned from the course.
- Friday - October 30, 2009
- Lions Municipal Golf Course
- 11:30a.m. Lunch
- 12:45p.m. Announcements and Rules Review
- 1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start
- 6:00p.m. Awards Ceremony
The format was a four-person scramble. Awards were given to the first and second place teams and individual contest winners for longest drive and closest to the pin.
IT vendors doing business with Texas public sector IT customers were strongly encouraged to register a 4-person team consisting of at least two government players, and that was accomplished. Teams registering with this criteria were given priority. Player Fees of $45.00 per person covered green fees, cart fees, practice range, tournament services, beverages, lunch, and heavy appetizers during the awards ceremony.
Registration achieved 32 teams this year!
Come out and join the fun next for the 7th Annual Event!
